Sharvari Karandikar
(She/Her)
Senior Associate, Learning and Insights
Sharvari believes that each child deserves access to environments of care and opportunity - and that strong public education systems are a key way to achieve this. She studied Psychology and Literary and Culture studies during her undergraduate years, while running The Story Project which combined her passion for stories, teaching, and emotional well-being for children. This led her to the Teach For India Fellowship and consequently research and evaluation roles in the education sector.
She also holds a Master’s degree in education policy from University College London (UCL). She loves niche history and non-fiction books, solving the NYT puzzles, cooking and trying new cuisines, and learning through books, podcasts, and listening.Â
As a child, she loved reading and could always be found with an emergency book in her backpack, trying to create borrowing and lending systems with her classmates in her pursuit for more books.Â
