Jubeda Ali
Manager, Training and Design
Jubeda's upbringing in the serene Himalayan town of Kalimpong shaped her into a playful and curious child deeply connected to nature. Surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of nature, she developed a love for exploration through trekking, hiking, and cycling in the hills. Her grandparents, both dedicated government school teachers, instilled in her a profound respect for education and a keen interest in learning from a young age.
Her commitment was further solidified through volunteering at various NGOs during her undergraduate years at Christ University which exposed her to the challenges within the education system and ignited a strong commitment to make a difference. Becoming a Gandhi Fellow allowed her to immerse herself fully in educational initiatives aimed at empowering communities and enhancing learning outcomes.Â
Her pursuit led her to obtain a master's degree in education from Azim Premji University, marking the beginning of a career dedicated to transformative educational practices. With roles in organizations such as Dharaohar and Moinee Foundation, Jubeda spearheaded significant projects and curriculum developments, notably in FLN and STEM Education across diverse regions. Joining SEF was a natural progression for Jubeda, driven by her unwavering belief in the potential of governmental systems to effect positive change in education.Â
Beyond her professional endeavors, she finds joy in driving and connects deeply with nature, striving to live a sustainable lifestyle.
