Shinjinee graduated with a degree in Economics only to realize that all that she studied on paper needed to manifest in her actions. She joined Teach for India right after graduation and taught eighty seven wonderful students in a government school in Pune. The fellowship was life-changing for her and it made her realize that nothing makes her happier than working with and for children. She believes that education is the key and the hope for a better world. In her free time, she either binge watches masterchef or cooks with cranked up music.

Shinjinee's childhood is filled with warm moments spent with her family. She was also obsessed with going to parks, reading Tintin and chocolates.
