Prabhanshu Singh

(He/Him)

Manager, State Program, Punjab

After completing his MBA in Marketing and working for 7 years in the corporate sector, Prabhanshu decided to change his career path to the education sector and joined Teach For India fellowship in the year 2021. During his childhood, his mother took classes for children free of cost, and while evaluating their answer sheets, he learned addition.

Prabhanshu always believed in the power of education and always wanted to do something to bridge the inequality, but it was during COVID that he finally decided to follow his heart. Prabhanshu likes to manage and excel at multiple things. In school, he used to participate and win at inter-school athletic meets and went on to play nationals in 4*100 meters relay. He has been trained in violin for 6 years in Hindustani music and has found the motivation to pick it up again after a gap of nearly 15 years. Prabhanshu is grateful that he went through all the iterations to find his calling at the intersection of education, human-centered design, research, and storytelling - the four areas that ignite his curiosity and drive him to learn and get better every day. Prabhanshu loves being a student and being of service.

Prabhanshu describes his childhood as playful, mischievous, imaginative, and fast-paced.
